Which wood type is suitable for custom woodwork?
That depends on what you want to make and where the woodwork will be used. Indoors, for example, appearance and finish play a major role, while wood outdoors must also be resistant to the elements. The desired lifespan, load, appearance, and amount of maintenance therefore help determine which wood species suits the project. Can custom woodwork also be used outdoors?
