What does it cost to have a roof extension installed?
De kosten van een dakopbouw kunnen sterk verschillen. Niet alleen de oppervlakte telt mee. Vooral de bestaande constructie en de aanpassingen die nodig zijn om de nieuwe woonlaag veilig te kunnen dragen, hebben veel invloed op de werkzaamheden.
Daarnaast maken de indeling en afwerking een groot verschil. Een open verdieping met een eenvoudige indeling vraagt om iets anders dan een extra verdieping met meerdere slaapkamers, een badkamer, grote kozijnen en uitgebreid maatwerk.

Heb je een vergunning nodig voor een dakopbouw?
Als je een dakopbouw wilt plaatsen, krijg je te maken met de regels uit de Omgevingswet. Welke vergunningen, meldingen of andere verplichtingen voor jouw plan gelden, hangt onder andere af van de woning, locatie en uitvoering van de dakopbouw.
Daarnaast wordt bij een dakopbouw de bestaande woning constructief aangepast en groter gemaakt. Daarom moet vooraf goed worden bekeken wat bouwkundig mogelijk is. Afhankelijk van het plan kunnen onder andere bouwtekeningen en constructieve berekeningen nodig zijn.

Yes, a flat roof can be suitable for a rooftop extension. In this case, a new living level can be created on top of the existing home. Whether this is possible for your house depends, among other things, on the load-bearing structure, foundation, and local regulations. A flat roof is a common scenario for a rooftop extension.
Can a rooftop extension also be built on a pitched roof?
Yes, a roof extension may also be possible for a home with a pitched roof. Consider, for example, raising the ridge or a larger modification that changes the shape of the existing roof. Can every home support a rooftop extension?
